Sharlyne Naubert is a senior majoring in Africana Studies, with a minor in Healthcare Management and Insurance. During her internship, Sharlyne conducted a community needs assessment, visiting local organizations and speaking directly with community members to better understand their concerns. She later analyzed the data she collected and presented her findings to the center and various Public Health workers, offering clear recommendations on areas that needed improvement. Her experience at the Health Education Center not only strengthened her skills in research and analysis but also reinforced her drive to ensure that healthcare systems listen to and meet the needs of the communities they serve.
